Braille Sounds is a new series where we get weird in the studio, go over production techniques, my experience as an artist and live performance setups.
Brooklyn based Praveen Sharma has always taken a genre absorbing, dancefloor-oriented approach to his output as Braille, effortlessly floating through house, techno, melancholic ambient and UK Bass. His singles on European labels Rush Hour (âThe Year 3000â) and Hotflush Recordings (âA Meaningâ) were critically acclaimed and set the stage for his full length album debut on LA based label Friends of Friends (âMute Swanâ). After a flurry of EP and single releases, Braille's second album, "Triple Transit" is due out on Hotflush Recordings on August 8th. Braille has also collaborated with artists such as Machinedrum (as Sepalcure) and Heather Pearls (as Pleasure Jail) and has had music placed in feature films like "Black Swan". His new series on YouTube, "Braille Sounds", give viewers a peak inside Braille's studio and writing process.
