March 8, 2024: For any of you out there who might be fans of The B-52s, I've decided to start something new with them as the flagship for it. I'm going to occasionally start doing something called 'Remastering the Album', where I'll remaster an album or possibly more than one album by an artist. In this case, I'm currently working on remastering the first album from them back when they were still called The B-52's. I expect to have this album done tonight or tomorrow night and hope fans of that album will find the experience rewarding and pleasurable. There is a ton I've drawn out in these songs once I split them out and I've been very happy with my results so far. Here's hoping you feel the same way when I release it, as that album is a masterpiece inside its genre and era.
If you have any requests for albums you'd like me to remaster for this idea, please put them in the comments below. I place a high premium on albums that don't have any weak songs on them for doing this, so let's see what you got. The caveat is that I need access to all songs for any album I do via standard YouTube searches. Paging for ideas: @Ka1Gra3

November 18, 2023 marked the one year anniversary of this channel and in a rolling celebration of it, now that I have time again, I'm going to remaster some of the remasters I've already done using some of the new tools I've acquired since the channel began. If there are any songs I've done already that you'd like me to re-remaster, let me know. I also do requests for remasters, so if you have any you'd like done, feel free to ask me to do it.

For anyone who likes this channel and would like to have a similar listening experience to me of the music I've remastered on the channel, look into the Shure SRH440A headphones. If you get those and turn a Mac (if you have one) up to 9 or 10 clicks of the volume, you'll be pretty close to the same listening experience I have when I create the final versions of the remasters I do for the channel. For those not on a Mac, it's probably close to one click above halfway on the volume, as long as you get a pair of Shure SRH440A headphones.

Now that I've posted a bunch of songs, anyone who's a frequent visitor to this channel probably is beginning to know what my tastes are. In 2023, I'm willing to take some requests to remaster songs you might want done inside this style. If I like the songs well enough to do them, I will. Please post any remastering requests in the comments below and I'll see what I can do in 2023.

This channel is dedicated to songs I like that I feel can be improved to make the most of the song or what I personally feel is the most of a song. In other words, it’s subjective but subjectively me. I do all of these remasters out of love and that’s why the channel is called The Benevolent Remasterer. Any song I touch will hopefully be truly transformed into something unexpected that still has the original song as its basis for being.
