Since the result of the poll is pretty 50/50, in the Unreal series, I won't go too much in depth on the C++ concepts. I will explain them as I use them, but I won't do specific video for them. For that, I'll start a new series that will evolve along this one where I teach C++ for game developers. In that series, I will start from and empty C++ project to make sure you learn the fundamentals and then quickly move in object oriented since most of you already know C#. This will be a fine balance but I think we can do it!

In light of the engine switch comes a new programming language. And since I want this series to be accessible, It would help me know the level of C++ you already have. It will help me know if I can dive into Unreal with just small clarifications of Unreal's C++ or if I need to explain C++ as well

Sorry for the time off, I was finishing school and taking some time off. I'm still thinking about the direction I want to take my channel in, and taking time to learn a lot more on Unreal engine. I'm really considering making videos on Unreal since right now I have more fun in that engine, and since it's the one I'm using at work, I want to learn more about it.
I hope you'll be open to learning about another engine! Multiplayer will always be the main part of this channel, no matter which engine I use! In the meantime, I hope you're all doing well and having fun making some great multiplayer games! See you soon!

Hi! My name is Carl and I'm a backend/Game developer!
I currently work at Norsfell on Tribes of Midgard by day and attend an Independent Video Game Design program in the evening.
On this channel, I want to share everything I've learned in my career and help you with difficult topics while I learn them for myself.
For now I have two main focus:
1. Hard concept like multiplayer, backend, map generation etc.
2. Generic coding techniques to make your code cleaner and easier to work with
If you want to take a look at games I worked on during the IVDG program, here's the link:
