First off—Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you're enjoying some well-deserved time with loved ones, delicious food, and plenty of relaxation. 🧡
The holidays are all about indulging in the moment, and guess what? It’s totally okay to enjoy that second helping of mashed potatoes or a slice of sweet potato pie without guilt. 🙌🏽
Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you navigate Thanksgiving (and the upcoming holidays):
1. It’s Okay to Rest
Take a break! Your body works hard all year, and the holidays are a great time to enjoy some rest and recharge. Don’t feel pressure to stick to your usual routine—give yourself permission to enjoy the season.
2. Balance, Baby!
Enjoy the food, but remember balance. Maybe you skip the rolls and load up on veggies, or let yourself indulge in your favorites and get back on track afterward. You’ve worked hard, and one day of eating won’t derail your progress.
3. Stay Active When You Can
If you’re feeling up for it, sneak in a quick walk, some light stretching, or a fun holiday workout. It’s about staying active in a way that feels good, not about perfecting every detail.
4. After the Holiday, We Get Right Back Into It!
The best part? The day after Thanksgiving (and all holidays!) is a fresh start. You don’t need to punish yourself with a crazy workout or extreme dieting. Just get back into your routine, fuel your body well, and keep moving forward.
This season is all about joy, gratitude, and making memories. Take it all in, but remember that your fitness journey doesn’t have to be put on hold forever. You can enjoy yourself and stay on track when you're ready to get back at it!
Stay strong and enjoy the holidays—you deserve it. 💖✨
Love ya lots!
