Known as the darkest day (or the dark soul), it is the point where the sun is no longer retreating but gradually moving towards its peak again. My 5th Annual Retreat (online) is an experience to withdraw and EMBRACE your light.

During my more recent trip to Mother India this September, I travelled to Kerala, known as God's Country. It was raining but so lush and beautiful. If you have never been, it's a place to visit at least once. My next video (coming soon) will share a strengthening asana that is both grounding and develops better focus.

Teachings, practice, demonstrations and why Yoga is the balm for a healthier and and happier life.
Heather Morton is an educator, entrepeneur, retreat host and certified Hatha Yoga teacher. Having no background and looking for ways to heal, she began teaching yoga while working in Northeast Asia. Sparked by personal drive and curiousity, it lead to living at ashrams and extended trips to India. With over 29 years of experience, she ties the widsom of the Yogic lineage to modern life. In 1997, she opened The Yoga Way (TYW) and produced one of the first dvds on back bending (basic to advanced practice). TYW served the Toronto community for 15 years before she began teaching globally. 🪷
