Disclaimer: The jinns testimony could be true as the pains of the recitation could make them reveal the person or they can be lying to cause separation in a family and unjustly accuse one which is why this is the weakest form of proof but when accusing say your mother maternal aunt uncle etc but if it's publicly known the one who the jinn is mentioning has malice towards you that can lean towards the side the jinn was forced to tell the truth.
In an authentic hadith the Satan's can tell the truth when Allah forces them such as the authentic hadith about a shaytan telling the companion of Prophet Muhammad pbuh that ayatul Qursi recited before bed Allah sends an angel to guard you.

Self ruqyah exposes who casted on you.
It is an obligation to warn the community of harm that can occur due to the actions of a person. The motive, the purpose & intention publicly exposing a sahir is to warn those of one's potential harm, so that one who is forced to be around the individual can take precautionary measures to protect oneself from that potential harm that Allah may allow to afflict you as per the quranic verse In Surah baqarah 2:102 the devils taught men magic that could cause separation between men and wife but does not harm EXCEPT BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH.
Measures one should take when it is known the person deals with witchcraft.
1. Make sure to recite your prayers of protection daily and especially when around that person such as Surah falaq and surah naas as suggested by Prophet Muhammad pbuh to say as a means to seek protection from Witchcraft, jinn, evil demonic whispers and the evil or envious eyes
Narrated by 'Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
"When the Prophet (ﷺ) became ill, Jibreel (Gabriel) would perform Ruqyah for him by reciting: Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn). When these two Surahs were revealed, the Prophet (ﷺ) used them (for seeking protection) and abandoned everything else."
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 31, Hadith 3565)
A witch admits it's hard to do magic on a practicing Muslim, but as you will learn, even a practicing Muslim can be afflicted if Allah Wills a test.

2. Not to take drinks or food from the person as sihr can be placed on your food or drink.

3. Not take gifts from the individual as sihr can be done on an article of clothing, or an item so that if you touch it by Allah's permission you can become afflicted as a test to you and the magician.
Magic is a test to both parties, the victim and the sorcerer.

4. To hide ones belongings around the person as the sahir needs a trace of you whether it be your hair which one can pretend to use your bathroom and obtain from your comb, your clothes as your sweat is on it so they can cast on that and send a jinn to fulfil the act, your nails etc.

5. Another way is the sahir can place the magic at your door steps so that everytime you step on it the sihr intensifies so installing a camera system at your front door so that you can catch them in the act as magic needs to be renewed so the sorcerer will be back to put new magic at your doorstep if of course this is the method they used besides the other ways mentioned above.

Ruqya Shariyah is Ruqya that is free from any forms of shirk and revolves around recitation of the Quran, the use of authentic supplications and the seeking of assistance and refuge in Allah alone NOT Relying On The Power Of The Ruqya
The ruqya, nor the person performing the ruqya (raqi), has the power or ability to cure. Both the Raqi and the person it is being performed on must firmly believe that it is God alone who has the strength and power to cure, and it is He alone who cures. One should not place their trust nor rely on the ruqya itself.
