Interestingly, both “Little Dreamer” and “Eruption” were the last things recorded for the album…both were recorded using the Frankenstein and both used the same tuning offset, which was as follows:
1st string: Eb +12.7 cents
2nd string: Bb +12.9 cents
3rd string: F# +14.6 cents
4th string: C# +15.0 cents
5th string: Ab +15.0 cents
6th string: Eb +12.7 cents
This was one of Eddie’s favorite tunings as he also used the same offset on “Ice Cream Man” and the main distorted guitar track on “Women In Love”, further proof that Eddie’s tuning offsets were no accident!
