I hate how people act like Lamar is trash and then their ONLY argument is “no rings.” use that argument on Dan Marino. Lamar has broken almost every rushing record and will break a few passing records. Lamar is literally a top 5 player all time and people say he isn’t because he can’t win with a horrible defense and bad pass catchers and run game. now that the ravens have Henry, Flowers, Johnson and have had Andrews, they will win a Super Bowl in the next two years, and then there will be zero argument for Lamar “being bad.”

He is impressive. Top 3 QB in the NFL right now and for a couple years.
Any stats involving the offense for this season specifically are different because they have Henry. The safety comes low or completely into the box to stop King Henry and Lamar’s running ability too, but then they get burned over the top.
He also has not gotten better year after year. After his first MVP he saw a significant drop off the next year and the year after that. Was still dynamic. Just got less effective. But then he got much better at making decisions and at accuracy as his career has progressed. He is a one-of-a-kind QB after all. He has always been tough to stop even in his first year as a starter. And he will be even tougher to stop with Henry behind him.
They are likely headed to the AFC championship again, and to be honest I think Henry ends up being the edge they needed to break through against Kansas City. I know the Chiefs beat them in Week 1, but it’s Week 1.
