Both Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II were moved the same night of her funeral from the Royal Vault to the King George VI Memorial Chapel with her family only in attendance.

If you had watch had other documentary the floor about 6 ft of it goes down like an elevator and took Prince Philip's casket down there. They said it would sit there until the queen would die and they'd be interred together. It also showed the whole mausoleum and the casket places in the walls.

Prince Phillip’s remains were in the Royal Vault, to then be buried alongside his beautiful wife & Queen. I hope that brings The Royal Family peace to know they’re reunited in heaven ❤️ Along with Queen’s loving parents and Sister Margaret’s ashes. At least that’s my understanding, I definitely could be wrong. It has been known. 😊

Tourists will be able to visit and pay their respects after the funeral (right now, Windsor Castle is closed for funeral arrangements). Only then will visitors also be able to go to Westminster Abbey, where the state funeral will take place. #RIPqueenelizabeth
