I agree with Neil, it ain't no picnic going to Mars much less it takes 6 months to get there and not only the mental affection that does in your brain and the physical effect on your body and the heart .

How would humanity survive the radiation of space? Sure the ISS is protected by Earthā€™s magnetic field but once you leave the magnetic field and are in open space, the cosmic radiation would severely harm the body.

I hope one day we are capable of traveling to other planets but there needs to be an significant breakthrough in spacesuits that can protect our bodies from the radiation.
