How would humanity survive the radiation of space? Sure the ISS is protected by Earthās magnetic field but once you leave the magnetic field and are in open space, the cosmic radiation would severely harm the body.
I hope one day we are capable of traveling to other planets but there needs to be an significant breakthrough in spacesuits that can protect our bodies from the radiation.

I agree with Neil, it ain't no picnic going to Mars much less it takes 6 months to get there and not only the mental affection that does in your brain and the physical effect on your body and the heart .
