It can cause somatic disorders, conversion disorder, factitious disorder, malingering, emotional dysregulation, depression, brainfog, migraines, IBS, alexithymia, irrationality, moralistic tendencies, dogmatism, fawning, high conflict personality, echoism (mirroring narcissistic traits from past abusive partners or current histrionic friends) or unconventional borderline personality disorder and self-sabotaging relationships by lacking object constancy, causing anxious/avoidant attachment styles and unstable relationships, which repeats as a cycle. Nobody is perfect, people have flaws, and everyone makes minor mistakes. Conflict in relationships is inevitable, and something as simple as taking playfulness the wrong way or taking sarcasm "literally", can cause invalidated feelings. Invalidation in an argument is generally unintentional, and upsetting or hurting a partner with that you love is not done on purpose. Fibromyalgia is also related to low cortisol levels similar to ptsd, so it causes exaggerated startle reflex, being easily triggered, overreacting to mild stimuli, controlling behaviour, black & white thinking, splitting like BPD, scapegoating, blame, and out the blue breakups. Most people misuse the word gaslighting. This is the real definition: https://tinyurl.com/GLting Since the 1930's leading medical authorities published numerous papers published on the psychological basis of migraine, and all noted that migraines were related to suppressed rage in the unconscious mind, just as other somatic disorders like fibromyalgia are related to suppressed emotions, and that's why "Good Vibes Only" is Toxic Positivity, as it discards any negative emotions and denies people authentic support. It's Affect Dysregulation. This makes people fear being vulnerable or expressing their true feelings, masks mental health issues & causes bad vibes longterm. Most people with somatic disorders are unaware of suppressed emotions, and display the SuperEgo from the unconscious mind. Superego being: goodism, perfectionism, moralistic, people pleasing, passive aggressive, and superiority complex. People pleasing is a trauma response called fawning. Most people refuse to acknowledge fibromyalgia as a psychosomatic diagnosis, and most people refuse to listen to a different perspective, because of secondary gain. A majority of doctors are unaware and don't give a psychosomatic diagnosis, so they can enable you with medication you don't actually need. Some people use "secondary gain" which is using illness for personal advantage & validation, while staying in the sick role, exaggerating symptoms, consciously using symptoms for sympathy or benefits, and unconsciously presenting symptoms with no physiological basis. Substance P is a neurotransmitter in the brain to do with chronic pain. Decreasing substance P reduces depression. Vitamin C deficiency has also been linked to hysteria, migraines, depression, and hypochondria, so try a natural vitamin c complex (not ascorbic acid). The amino acid taurine has been shown to reduce migraines and lower body mass index in women. Recommended exercises for fibromyalgia are: MSBR (mindfulness based stress reduction), TRE (trauma release exercise), or Yoga. If you type "Nike" in netflix, you'll get a few yoga series. I highly recommend these Audible books: DSM-V Crash Course, Suzanne O'Sullivan - It's All In Your Head, John E Sarno - The Divided Mind, Bessel Van Der Kolk - The Body Keeps The Score, Robert Sapolsky - Stress and Your Body, Julie Smith - Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before, Philippa Perry - The Book You Want Everyone You Love To Read, Jason Satterfield - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Randi Kreger - Stop Walking On Eggshells, Jason Satterfield - Boosting Emotional Intelligence, David Berceli - Revolutionary Trauma Release Process.
