The San Diego Pain Summit (SDPS) was an international, interdisciplinary pain management conference founded in 2015 to help clinicians translate pain research into clinical practice. The company closed in 2024 due to financial issues stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic. SDPS was founded, owned, managed, and organized entirely by one person, Mrs. Rajam Roose.
The San Diego Pain Summit attracted speakers and participants from around the world and was considered one of the best events to attend for anyone who is interested in learning more about the following:
- How to improve communication and listening skills with patients and colleagues.
- Recognize and examine clinical biases.
- Confidence to navigate the complexities of patient's pain experiences.
- How to implement patient centered care.
