Today, letâs dive into a practice that holds the key to aligning with your highest good: introspection.
I knowâitâs not always easy to sit with yourself and examine the things youâve seen, known, or believed for so long.
The thing is you canât pour new, nourishing water into a cup already filled with stagnant energy. Youâve got to clear it out first.
Self-love isnât just bubble baths and affirmations (though we love those, too!).
Itâs the courage to investigate what isnât serving you.
Itâs saying, "Does this belief reflect my truth? Does this habit align with my higher self? Am I choosing love, or am I choosing fear?"
Itâs not about judgment. Itâs about liberation.
When you take the time to ask these questions, you discover the stories youâve been holding ontoâthe ones that might have been passed down, picked up, or simply programmed into you.
But not every story is yours to carry, love. And the most powerful thing you can do is release what doesnât belong.
Hereâs Your Self-Love Practice for Today:
Create a Sacred Space: Light a candle, grab your journal, and sit with yourself.
Ask the Big Questions:
What beliefs or habits no longer feel good to me?
What do I know deep down is holding me back?

Happy Self Love Friday!Â
Self love definitely involves spiritual healing. We can't even fully embrace ourselves without healing some of the spiritual programs that never really aligned with who we are at our core.Â
A spiritual healing journey to me is a moment in time where I realize something in my life has to change and I courageously embark on the travels of transformation.
Whether itâs physical, mental, emotional, relational, or financial, I know that in order to change any area of my life there is work I must do spiritually.
The spirit is the beginning and end, the Alpha and Omega, so when we address what is happening within our spirits the physical reality must change.
We are always on a spiritual healing journey but oftentimes donât realize it because weâve minimized the power and precedence the spirit (God) has in and on every area of our lives.
Everything in this human experience is spiritual. I know Iâm on a spiritual healing journey when I am dissatisfied and needing clarity and answers about certain things.
When I am no longer okay with a specific quality of life, I know God is taking me on a journey of healing and transformation which makes way for divine satisfaction and peace.
When I am asking questions, seeking, studying, and knocking on the proverbial door, this is my signpost that God is opening up a greater level of spiritual awareness for me which lends to expansion in my life.Â
I remember when I was working as a PE Aide making $600 every two weeks. I was struggling to get by, living paycheck to paycheck.
Before the direct deposit even hit my account it was already accounted for. I was sitting at my computer feeling frustrated and confused about why this was my life.
I had the college degree, I was super talented, well spoken, and driven to succeed but for some reason the opportunities for greater financial stability weren't appearing.
I asked God to show what I needed to change to open up the doors of financial security and a purpose filled job. I heard God clear as day say âHow do you want more but you don't honor what you have nowâ.
Wow! This was so powerful to me because at the time I was always late to that job, taking that $600 for granted.
From that moment I went on a healing journey of understanding why I was late. How I was potentially missing divine appointments God had set for me, and releasing the stronghold of waiting to the last minute to leave the house to get somewhere on time.
 After two weeks of disciplining myself and my commitment to timeliness, I was offered a job opportunity that would quadruple my income and ignite a spiritual fire in me that would lead to me becoming a spiritual healing coach. The spiritual healing journey doesnât stop at seeking and finding answers. It proceeds by acting on the clarity God has given. For me this can be the biggest challenge because it requires faith that the action Iâve been instructed to take will indeed yield a result I can see, touch, taste, hear, smell, and experience with my entire being.
We are also tested by time. How long will it take to happen? Will this new discovery and awareness last? Was it all worth it or a waste of time?
These are questions that have come up for me on the journey of healing and spiritual liberation. In my voyage, I am comforted by the saying âAll things are working for my goodâ and âEverything happens in divine timingâ.
These notions can be hard to accept when we are in the trenches of transition and transformation, needing a moment of safety and solace. Nonetheless, they are ALWAYS true!
On your self love and self healing journey, know that you will always have what you need, when you need itÂ
Trust God, Trust Yourself, and Trust the Process of Life!
