The two things I love the most are my two sons. Well, actually its bikes and tech, but that's just between us.

I've owned, ridden, raced and crashed bikes since I was 16 and have never been able to break the cycle. Now, I have a few of bikes that give me almost everything I need for my riding and travelling. Motorcycles used to be such a singular experience, shared only in recollection down the pub or at the cafe, but technology is my other passion and sharing these experiences has always been a goal.

Two decades before the drones we see on the market today, I made my on quad-copter out of balsa wood, electric motors and type 'D' batteries. It never really worked, I bought a 30 RC copter but although that worked I couldn't fly it. Now technology has caught up with my aspirations, I'm fully embracing and learning it.

My first experience of joining tech and bikes was getting a mate to film my DT175 with my silent 8mm movie camera. Let's see if I can do a bit better this time...
