The primary objectives and purposes of ASRAT media is
To report on news-worthy events of the Amhara in particular and of Ethiopia in general; to promote the history, identity, and culture of the Amhara people; to provide platform for Amhara focused organizations to express their views, debate those views openly, and respond to questions from the Amhara people regarding those views; to report on discussions and meetings of the Amhara people in particular and Ethiopians in general as well as organizations and parties focused on the Amhara and Ethiopians; to report, document, and disseminate the inhumane treatments the Amhara people suffer under any circumstance to the Amhara people, to Ethiopians and to the international bodies.
