We're self-building a house in the forest. Join us as we learn (often the hard way) how to build a low-cost, low-impact eco-friendly home. Our log home is locally designed and sourced from a sustainably managed forest and we're planning it so it could run completely off-grid, meaning we'll have our own well, septic and solar panel PV array, however we will connect to the electricity grid for now.
