FurnaceSongs (ASCAP) is the publishing umbrella for Songs of Michael Bradley, Antic Clay and Myssouri.
Michael Bradley is a singer/songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. Until 2005 he helmed the band Myssouri, after which he released a solo double cd “Hilarious Death Blues” under the name of Antic Clay.
He has collaborated with legendary producer John Fryer on his Black Needle Noise project, and Jarboe (Swans) in the project The Sweet Meat Love and Holy Cult.
Antic Clay has a new album, "Broom of Fire," to be released in 2021. As reflected in the leadoff single "Center of the Night" b/w "Brother Wolf Sister Moon" (which is a cover of the classic 1985 song by The Cult, featuring guest vocalist Mlny Parsonz of Royal Thunder), the latest material sees a return to the heavy, hypnotic sounds of Myssouri, who were often compared to pioneers of dark western or southern gothic rock music, such as 16 Horsepower, Swans and Nick Cave. Comparisons to The Doors and Pink Floyd were also common.
