MoneyOverZombie (Est. 2009) is an NYC centered, internationally based hip-hop group composed of untapped musical geniuses and all around real niggas. We as a group are an eclectic blend of talent; inspired by the likes of J. Dilla, Jay Electronica, Jay-Z, The Alchemist, Just Blaze, Flying Lotus, Shyne before he got wack and too many more to write in this goddamn description that we “GOTTA DO”. 99% of our production comes from in-house producers ZeroOutMinds, VainGloriou$, Truth and rapper/producer, Black|Water. The lyrical expertise is provided by Blizz Macmatics, Source, PurpleRyu, Void.Ignorance and Ola Dioss. We touch on the bases of drugs, metaphysics, poverty, pain, love, lust, money, conformance, rebellion, conspiracy, death, heaven, hell and esoteric knowledge. MoneyOverZombie, through music, hopes to compel people to vigilantly pursue their dreams by genuinely embracing who they are and not who they’re told to be.
