Happy New Year to everyone and welcome to 2025! I have a little start of the year update for the channel...
Following a 'rather dry' (near complete drought - whoops) upload year in 2024, I'm planning to upload more than ~three videos in 2025 (yay), so you've got that to look forward to! I really do appreciate all of you sticking with me while the channel sat by idly. A massive thank you too for 4000 subscribers right before the end of the year too, super happy to hit that milestone :D
As for what I currently have planned this coming year, I do have some videos you can look forward to:

Massive thanks for all the support on the season 7 Rayllum kisses video recently - quite the shock actually! No matter how often it happens, I'm still always surprised how the videos that I spend the least amount of time on end up being some of the best performing lol.
Most recent phenomenon being on the aforementioned video: 3+ hour effort on "every Rayllum kiss in season 7" vs 70+ hours on "Rayllum full season 6 analysis" ... 2000 views in three days vs 1700 in two months, like what lol.
*Not complaining or anything, I post the videos I do because I like them and I think other people will enjoy them; just pointing out something I've noticed happen a couple times.
Not to discourage anyone though, in saying all this, there are of course videos that do take a long time to make and do perform well (shoutout to my Gwen Stacy video omg) and less time consuming ones that perform about where I would expect.

Happy holidays and a Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! Small update on next videos - all Dragon Prince!
I'm currently away for a couple days unfortunately, but I'm still planning on making a little compilation video of Rayllum which should be out very very soon from this last season.
Next coming video after that will be an edit style video of Rayllum while I work on the script for whichever larger analysis video ends up working out the best for this new season...
...These big analysis videos are to follow the edit of course! I've gotten some great ideas so far under the last community post on what all of you would like me to cover, but please keep the ideas coming if you have any. I'll likely do a poll somewhat soon on what you'd like me to prioritise, so be on the look out for that!

Me watching THE FINALE of The Dragon Prince. Yeah wow, so that just happened...

I seem to magically appear whenever something big happens with this show ...and I'd think for good reason :)
What an incredible end to what may be the last ever season of this beautiful show. To the best of my knowledge, I first watched The Dragon Prince two years and eight months ago, but it seriously does feel like longer... Watching has been a delight through and through to see these beloved characters grow to face the challenges they are faced with.
The slightly aged up rating was once again used really well this season with everything they had going on and even caught me by surprise a couple times. Having Rayla and Callum so comfortable again is all I could ever ask for too. And the world safe for seven-ish years is also kinda good I guess lol.
I would love to make a video about this season, so please tell me what you would like to hear. Stick to the developing tradition of covering Rayllum every season? Something about Aaravos? Please, please do tell me absolutely anything. I want this to be a special time that we can all celebrate together!
I hope that you will join me in not just saying that our hearts go out for The Dragon Prince and the amazing team behind it that made it all possible. But also that our hearts, "my heart... for Xadia." <3

Almost five months ago, to the date, I had an idea for a video about a game I played back in June. Just two days after I finished the game, it felt right to make a draft thumbnail - remember, I wasn't posting again yet! But I'm excited to announce that the proper planning of my next video has begun! For which game? Firewatch.
Firewatch is a beautiful story-driven game where you play as Henry, a new fire lookout in Shoshone National Forest in 1989. I went into this game almost as blind as could be, and while I knew that the visuals were beautiful, I had no idea the turns it would take. I don't want to give too much away quite yet because I'm still figuring out exactly what it'll become, but I have a good idea about what I want it to be!
I'm looking at making sure it goes really in-depth, so probably a longer video (maybe 20-ish minutes - not another 40 minute one again quite yet, lol). But I'll have a community poll coming out over the coming days to see what you guys would prefer.

Copyright claim(s) update on my Rayllum season 6 video... Where do I start? UPDATE: received strike.
I have no idea what's going on to be completely honest; I think it's absolutely absurd that after 73+ different versions, there's still issues. I stand by the fact that I believe my video is fair use (and Netflix is well within their right to disagree), but it irritates me to no end that I can't know why or what they want changed, apart from the obvious: don't use our material unfairly.
Especially so when I've doxxed myself to them to send these appeals ... so, not only could they send me an email, they could literally send someone to come knock on my door and explain it to me. (Obviously, the latter is out of the question, but the point stands.)
The latest version has been awaiting review for the last six days (out of the seven allowed) and is currently in limbo whilst YouTube decides what to do with it following Netflix, once again, rejecting my appeal. Granted, I am grateful that strikes haven't been issued for any of the appeals I've submitted, but it's still annoying. UPDATE: no longer lol.
I really appreciate y'all's patience and understanding. I'm trying as best I can to even understand it myself. Of course, I'm still going to be trying my best to get this out as soon as possible - preferably before November (omg TT) because that is more than far enough away from when I said this video was originally going to be out.

Still working hard to resolve the issues apparently ridden through all the different versions I've uploaded. Netflix, whilst rejecting two of my appeals have been kind enough to allow me to rescind both of them so I don't get a strike on my channel so, my thanks to them there. Going to continue working on resolving it this weekend, my many thanks once more for your patience everyone. I promise it'll be out soon!
