Back in the days, a lot of countries had their own car wash manufacturer. France was no exception. Among all, one was more niche and obscure, Hydro 7, which was under the control of FLI group, which stands for France Lavage International.
They had tree rollovers and all of them were hydraulics, which was quite unusual. The "Multiprogramme 2000" was the top-end machine with these small additional lateral brushes and extras like the chassis wash for example. In the range was also an imported machine from Finland, the Tammermatic Nordic !
I sadly don't have much more infos. I was not able to find out when this manufacturer started and ended.
A l'époque, pas mal de pays avaient leur propre fabricants de lavage auto. La France ne faisait pas exception. Parmi tous, un était dans un marché de niche, Hydro 7, qui était sous contrôle du groupe FLI, signifiant France Lavage International.
La marque commercialisait 3 portiques, tous hydrauliques, ce qui était assez rare. Le "Multiprogramme 2000" était la machine haut-de-gamme avec des petites brosses latérales supplémentaires et des options telles que le lavage châssis. La gamme était aussi composée d'une machine importée de Finlande, le Tammermatic Nordic !
Je n'ai pas plus d'infos hélas. Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver sur quelle période la marque a existé.

Two months ago I went to check on the former Ryko Premier XL but I forgot to upload the picture here. A very bland and boring second-hand WashTec EasyWash has been installed. Quite the downgrade in some ways but sure enough a logical decision.
Il y a deux mois je suis retourné voir l'endroit où était le Ryko Premier XL mais j'avais oublié de publier la photo ici. C'est un banal et ennuyeux WashTec EasyWash d'occasion qui a été installé. Une belle descente en gamme sur certains points mais une décision somme toute logique.

Long before the Christ Quantus C165, Christ AG offered a 5-brush rollover, the Christ all plus. This image is from 1988, roughly 20 years before the introduction of the Quantus ! Back then, pretty much all manufacturers has theyr 5 (or 6 !) brushes rollover.
Bien avant le Christ Quantus C165, Christ AG vendait un portique 5 brosses, le Christ all plus. Cette image date de 1988, quasiment 20 ans avant les début du Quantus ! A cette époque, quasiment tous les constructeurs avaient leur portiques à 5 (voire 6!) brosses.

EN : Ferrum is a former french manufacturer.
At it's beggining in the 70's, Ferrum didn't had it's own models but distributed under it's own brand Kleindienst's systems, like the 6-269 "superfrog", as seen on the first picture.
Then in the 80's/90's Ferrum started to commercialize it's own system, like the Ferrumstar or the Tristar tunnel. I know one or two abandoned models, which are the "super 2000" (a rebranded Kleindienst) in France. Sadly, outside of these photos from old car magazine, I don't have more pictures or infos. What I can tell you is that the brand got under Imostab's control at some point. Then in the 90's, it got grouped with an other former french manufacturer, Neptune, which gave birth to the "Fernep" group (for FERrum and NEPtune). And in 1993, Wesumat France brought this group and killed it, hence why Wesumat was a very popular brand in France in the mid-90's to the 2000 when WashTec was created.

A ses débuts, Ferrum n'avait pas de modèles propre à la marque mais distribuait en son nom des modèles de la marque Kleindienst, comme le 6-269 "superfrog", CF la première photo.
Ensuite, dans les années 80/90, Ferrum a commencé a commercialiser ses propres modèles, tels que le Ferrumstar ou le tunnel Tristar. Well, 2023 is over. Hello 2024 ! Happy new year to all of you.
2023 has been a nice year to my channel with a video every week and I think a nice variety of systems. Rollovers, tunnels, old ; brand new ; high-tech and a Takt-system, the only one working in France, which is the channel's most viewed video of 2023 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmP6R...).
I really hope to have the chance to spend time in a foreign contry in 2024. I planned something for 2023 but it hasn't worked because my summer holidays had been modified. If all goes to plan, I will film a lot of nice systems, mostly vintage :D.

Et bien ça y est, 2023 c'est fini, bonjour 2024 ! Une très bonne année à vous.
2023 a été une excellente année pour ma chaîne, avec une vidéo par semaine et je trouve une jolie variété de systèmes. Portiques, tunnels, récent ; anciens ; high-tech et même un "Takt", le seul en fonction en France, qui est par ailleurs la vidéo la plus vue en 2023 ! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmP6R...).
Un autre changement, plus subtil, que j'ai effectué il y a quelques mois est la traduction des titres et descriptions en français des vidéos. J'espère que cela vous plait !
J'espère vraiment pouvoir passer quelques jours à l'étranger en 2024. J'avais prévu ça en 2023 mais je n'ai pas pu le faire car mes congés d'été ont étés modifiées. Mais si tout se passe comme prévu, je pourrais filmer pas mal de lavages sympa, surtout des anciens :D.
