We live life in a remote Alaskan community. With no roads to get here, the use of small aircraft to resupply and travel to the road system adds to our adventure. The remoteness of life in the village has its challenges, but the unique opportunities we have to enjoy the wonderful creation that surrounds us is unprecedented. The community of Port Alsworth is located on the southeast shore of Lake Clark at Hardenburg Bay at the base of Tanalian Mountain, about 170 miles southwest of Anchorage. It is the only community within the wilderness of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.
