to anybody who bothers looking at this and is wondering about wtf happened to the Tally Hall Megamix Part One: yes, it was copyright claimed; no, not on behalf of Tally Hall or Cojum Dip or anybody associated.
the video was automatically claimed and blocked worldwide for the introduction to Cojum Dip's cover of the Magnet Man theme on Videojuegos Vol. 2 on behalf of a band called Strong Island Tribe. this is because the first few seconds of their new song, Super Dance Party, has the same rhythm as the Magnet Man song. the Megamix will likely be edited and reuploaded within the week.
i want to make a disclaimer here, please read: do NOT harass Strong Island Tribe on any of their media platforms about this if you had any weird twisted thought of doing so. they likely have NO IDEA that this has happened and they probably don't deserve any shit given how small of a band they are. in fact, i actually like their sound, has a real funky new wave and dance-punk jive to it. nevertheless, nobody is really at fault except for the coincidence of the similar rhythm and i guess YouTube's content identification system, even though i feel like saying that the system should be at fault is a little disingenuous since the mix wasn't my music AT ALL.
that's all. if you don't care about the megamix then i might make another joke Consul video, or maybe some other stupid little VA meme shitposts.
