As one of Germanys most remarkable recording artists, Andreas Dorau released over 13 albums of his unique pop music and gathered fans all over the world. After being recognized for his NDW hit “Fred vom Jupiter“ in the early 80s, Andreas embarked on a critically acclaimed journey towards dance music in the 90s and Y2K. „Girls in Love“, „Das Telefon sagt Du“, „So ist das nunmal“ became hymn-like favorites that are still played live in concert. Many other album tracks of that era remain fans and artists favorite go-to-tunes. After working with Tommi Eckart for the albums „neu!“ and „70 Minuten…“, Andreas took a break and then came back with a fresh mid-00s electronic sound the created with Justus Köhncke (Kompakt, Whirlpool Productions). Speaking of Kompakt, throughout the decades, Wolfgang Voigt created stand-out remixes of several tracks, some released on vinyl via Ladonat2000 or Kompakt. Nowadays Andreas is most busy dropping new albums frequently via Tapete Records + Universal Music.
