Hey everyone! I wanted to give a little life update so that people who are new to the channel could get to know me a little better. My name is Aaron Van Maanen and I'm a 23 year old filmmaker from Iowa. I recently started my own video production company, Good Era, with my friend Neal Johnson. We are in the process of creating new short films and video content for this channel, and we can't wait for what's to come. Neal is the Director of Photography and I focus on writing and directing.
Our dream is to someday create a feature length movie, but as we develop the skills and ability to do that, we will be creating short films to continue learning and growing as filmmakers.

Hello! My name is Aaron Van Maanen and I am a filmmaker from Iowa. I write and direct short films, our latest films include Hypodermic (2022), Grizzly (2021) and Smoke (2019).
