This is my '76 F-250 project truck. Still not close to done, but making progress.
All these videos are at 6,600 feet above sea level, which means we are losing about 20% of our sea-level horsepower.
I got a 6.73 second 1/8 mile run here on the hill at 103.2mph. No video of it because my camera malfunctioned. Should make for a pretty easy 10 second quarter at sea level.
Truck is about 4200lbs with driver. Dana 60 axles, 5.38 gears, 38" swamper tires (except at the drag strip, where I run 12.00-16 M&H Nostalgia Top Fuel slicks), C6 with around a 4500 stall. Roll cage, Corbeau seats, ratchet shifter. Engine is 511ci all aluminum 427 side-oiler. 12:1 Arias pistons, CNC ported heads, titanium valves, roller valvetrain, billet crank and rods, Victor manifold, Dominator carb, electric fan and waterpump. Sportsman fogger port nitrous kit used in the runs of 7.5 and lower.
