This November, Erin will be celebrating 29 years with her original transplanted heart from Boston Childrenās Hospital! At just 18 months old, she received her transplant on Nov. 2, 1996, changing her life forever.
Because of her donor, sheās been able to graduate from college, get married, become a mom, and make memories with her amazing kids. When you choose to be an organ donor, youāre helping a child have a chance at becoming a healthy adult, just like Erin.

Now in third grade, Easton loves superheroes, hanging out with his brothers, swimming š, reading š, visiting theme parks š¢, building Legos, and cheering on the UNC-Greensboro soccer team. ā½
Heās also been a champion for #congenitalheartdefects awareness, helping support local research efforts ā all while still making routine visits to Boston for follow-up care.
