I'm testing my new T300 RS 2 pedal set I got directly from Thrustmaster for $55. I bought a T300 RSGT in 2018 and got 6 years out of it, replaced a lot of springs. But the potentiometers finally gave out. I couldn't find any other than one on Alibaba for .99 and it didn't work.
So, I got this set.

This brake OOTB has/had way to much range without any resistance, its impossible to feel where your at with consistency. So I took the conical (rubber cone) brake mod that comes with the T300 and hacked the cone off the bolt it was glued to and just dropped it in behind the brake pedal, no tape or anything, took 2 seconds.

The full cone made it have zero range of movement so I chopped 3/8" off the tip of the cone and that gave it just enough range before it hits the rubber. At about half brake I'm pushing like it should feel. This helps for car control tremendously.

So if you have a stock pedal set that you have no feel for the brakes on or keep locking up, any chunk of decent rubber from an old nobbie mudder tire at the junk yard will work. DONT USE A RAZOR KNIFE TO CUT RUBBER. Something with teeth or power is better. Just has to be larger than the opening behind the brake so it doesn't fall through.
