You may know the Dutch word 'gezellig' does not have a direct translation, but could be described as:
'A feeling of warmth, coziness, and conviviality in a social setting.'
There is 1 more you may want to know, and it is 'indrinken'.
This is the act of meeting up at someone's place to drink alcohol together, usually with the underlying intention of saving money. Like 'getting drunk without having to pay so much for drinks at the club/bar'... Quite Dutch. 🇳🇱
