We are building a sustainable outhouse using the Toilet Tech Solutions urine diverting dry toilet. A sustainable outhouse does not stink like a pit latrine, porta-potty, or vault toilet because the toilet pedestal diverts urine away from the feces. Feces are conveyed into a chamber behind the outhouse where they decompose as they dry out and the urine drains into an underground leach field where the nitrogen is utilized as a natural fertilizer by the nearby plants.
