Jesus called himself The GOOD SHEPHERD taking on two titles which belongs to the God of Israel.
Psalms 136:1 'O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is GOOD'
Psalms 23:1 'The Lord is My SHEPHERD'
Jesus receives worship many times since his birth and he doesn't stop people from worshipping him or rebuke them. If He was not God, then this would be a punishment worthy of death. But as we know it God raised Him from the dead, proving it was Jesus' right to receive worship.
Mat_2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to WORSHIP him.
