I love Akira. I have loved Akira since around 1993 when it was aired in the UK late one night. Since then I have been an avid collector of memorabilia and I created the website Akira2019.com
I made this channel to try collect together some interesting Akira (アキラ) and Katsuhiro Otomo videos.

AKIRA
A manga comic created in 1982, written and illustrated by Katsuhiro Otomo in the pages of Young Magazine. The comic finished its run in 1990. It was collected and released in 6 phone book sized volumes in 1984 to 1993. This work is considered a masterpiece.
The Manga was adapted into an Animated film which was released in 1988, written and directed by original comic creator, Katsuhiro Otomo himself. This Anime is heralded as one of the greatest works in Animation.
