For too many years we have been subjected to bullshit music from bullshit bands, played repeatedly on radio stations everywhere. When major labels pay the stations to play songs from their "artists," the music becomes advertisements in between the commercials. The music industry has resorted to large-scale layoffs and suing downloaders as a business model. It is slowly dying.
Truly alternative music is the voice of the underworld. We will use the collective power of the club to coordinate our efforts, and our support, of the music and bands that WE choose. Through a grassroots fan-base approach we will promote the art of music. We will support underground bands with distribution of their music, venues to play, promotion and attendance at their shows, even a place to stay if they are touring.
