Chapter 412: History's Craziest Hero
The chapter begins with an x-ray of Deku's arm, showing that he's using black whip on the inside to expand his muscles. He then goes for another punch using Fa Jin and the wind pressure. This page is full of flashbacks of him using OFA on his fingers through the series
DELAWARE SMASH! Shigaraki laughs and says that Midoriya is pretty clever, because destroying the arena itself is a good way of dealing with decay. He then tries to touch the ground again, but notices that the cloud of dust from the previous attack hasn't dissipated yet
Then many blackwhips come out of the smoke and Deku comes from above, tearing Shigaraki's arm off with a punch. He used Gearshift's 1st gear on smokescreen to make it dissipate slower and used blackwhip to make Shigaraki's danger sense activate non-stop
Ever since he was hit by Nagant's curved bullet, Deku knows that danger sense isn't flawless. He starts charging Fa Jin, but Shigaraki uses Search to find him and hits him with the black tendrils. Search reveals the opponent's weakness, and Deku's is that he can't breathe
Gearshift is over and now he's suffering the recoil. Shigaraki's arm grows back and he notices that Deku is overdoing it, to the point that black whip is now visible even on the outside of his arm, forming black marks all over it
Shigaraki mocks Deku by saying that he has to protect many things and that makes it difficult for him to focus on just fighting, but Deku says that he won't give up on the boy who was crying. Shigaraki dodges another kick and starts a speech
He says that everyone sees the world through their own lens and always tries to assign meaning to what they don't understand. And that's what Deku is doing, he's trying to unravel Shigaraki while knowing nothing about him
And since OFA and AFO can see each other's vestiges, he should know that Tenko is gone. This memory from the past has expanded his worldview and became Tomura Shigaraki, he's no longer suffering. Nana thinks back to when she talked to Izuku and says that he should give up
Some people can't be saved. Shigaraki represents the biggest barrier in the way of Izuku's heroism, and it's fine if he can't overcome it. What he has to do now is land an attack so strong that it instantly kills Shigaraki. But Deku says that's not the solution
If it was that simple, Shigaraki wouldn't remember all the suffering from his past. He then thinks back to what Tomura said in the last war, about hero society sweeping all the pain under the rug. "I won't stop fighting until I've shredded that rug with my own hands!!"
Kudou says that he didn't accept Deku, so he decided to look at his memories. That's when he realized that Midoriya never gave up on anyone. Whether it's someone he was supposed to hate, like Bakugou, or someone with no quirk, he always wanted to believe in their goodness
Star's (!) arm appears inside the vestiges pointing at something and Aura Might and Kudou look in that direction. Kudou then says: "Ninth, listen to me: you have to let go of One For All". The last panel is a flashback to All Might saying he can become a hero End of Chapter

Chapter 411: The Worst Villain to Ever Exist"
- On a flashback, Yoichi says that this is now officially a "sucessor battle". He says they have to defeat Tomura and Nana looks conflicted. Banjo says that overcoming the Regeneration will be their biggest challenge
- A giant hand then appears inside the vestiges
- Shinomori then sacrifices himself to protect the other vestiges, getting absorbed by Shigaraki
- Shigaraki says "so this is part of the power that my master struggled so much to steal?" and Shinomori's chair gets decayed and Banjo is surprised
- Deku mixes Black Whip, Fa Jin and Gearshift to use "Black Chainc, but Shigaraki dodges it with Danger Sense!! "So that's how you've been doing all of my attacks..."
- Shigaraki goes to attack Deku and mocks him for the "I can't pretend I didn't see you crying" line
- "That's not me anymore! You're still treating me as a human being?!"
- Deku protects himself with black whip, but his mask breaks. "The mask All Might got back for me after I dropped it...". They're now right next to Mt. Fuji
- Shinomori says that the quirks getting stolen won't decrease OFA's base strength, because that's stored on the quirk itself, not on the quirk factors. En says they should run because Shigaraki can just steal all of them in the blink of an eye
- Shigaraki says "I can see you, ghosts. You got stronger because you kept running away, right? So I'll destroy all of you right now". He says he'll turn everything into a giant wasteland, like Spinner wanted. And this destruction will start at Mt. Fuji
- Shigaraki is smiling and enjoying the moment. Banjo says that if he destroys Mt. Fuji, lava will come out and make it even worse. En says that Shigaraki isn't just AFO's successor, he's destruction itself
- Deku says "still, there's a reason for all of this". He thinks back to his talk with ochako and, smiling, says "you're still human". He's smiling and covering his arm with black whip, preparing to attack, as Shigaraki's danger sense activates. End of chapter

Chapter 410: Farewell, All For One
The chapter begins with an internal monologue from AFO saying that he has to get to Shigaraki. Judging by Tomura's appearance, the AFO vestige inside of him has "died" without using the trump card, so he can still win this. "Yoichi, I need you," he thinks to himself
Since AFO didn't make a single good memory in his entire life, he wants to ruin everyone's future. He wanted everyone to look at him, forever. That's when we see that AFO is now a crawling baby and that Bakugou is coughing blood, almost almost passing out
Just as Bakugou is about to fall, he remembers what he said to Kirishima ("standing through anything makes you crazy strong") and keeps standing, smiling. AFO shoots a spike from his mouth, but Bakugou holds it with his teeth and explodes it. "It's nap time, All For One!"
All For One starts to cry. "These emotions are taking over me! I'm not like this! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! Hate! Hate! I hate it!"
AFO turns into a fetus and all the vestiges start to glow. "The quirks are going back to their former owners... nah, that would be way too convenient", vestige Hawks jokingly says before disappearing. All For One then turns into an egg cell and vanishes once and for all
Bakugou is exhausted and thinks to himself "aw man... I wanted to do the All Might victory pose". He falls to the ground without being able to strike the pose, but he at least keeps his arm up and thinks "good luck, Izuku"
Cut to a flashback of Jeanist, Nejire, Tamaki, Mirko, Edgeshot, Deku and Bakugou a few days before the war. Jeanist says that they have to defeat Shigaraki inside U.A. and Nejire and Tamaki ask if it's to avoid the destruction of the buildings like what happened in Jaku
Edgeshot says that this is the smaller problem here, since human lives matter more than buildings. Mirko tells them to skip to the conclusion and Jeanist says that the mental confusion between AFO and Shigaraki is a problem: they'd rather fight AFO than Shigaraki
AFO just wants to rule, not necessarily destroy. But Tomura wants to destroy everything the heroes hold dear and he has the power and the hatred to do so, so his decay is going to be greater than ever. The flashback ends and we see Inko watching the fight from the bunker
Shigaraki says that if he touches the ground, he will send the decay to the depths instead of the surface, destroying part of Shizuoka in an instant. In fact, with his current power, he could destroy the 378,000 square kilometers of Japan's territory in just one week
Deku kicks him and starts thinking: he's given up on Black Whip and is now using Gearshift, Danger Sense and Fa Jin to focus on attacking, but he wants it to be done asap. He's wearing his mask and the two of them are near the ocean being hit by waves, really cool visuals
Shigaraki realizes that AFO is dead and says that it's entirely his fault, he should've killed Bakugou for real when he had the chance. But at the same time he feels grateful to AFO for making him strong to the point he can keep up with gearshifted Deku's speed
On the next page Tomura touches Deku's face, but he destroys his fingers in the same millisecond thanks to danger sense. However... "Boy! Shinomori's gone!" shouts Banjo. SHIGARAKI STOLE DANGER SENSE! "How long can you keep fighting?" Tomura asks. End of chapter

⚠️⚠️Manga Spoilers chapter 409 ⚠️⚠️
Chapter 409: Quirk!!! Explosion!!!
The chapter begins with Bakugou's birth. Mitsuki smiles as she looks at the baby while Masaru cries. We then see some flashbacks of him, such as him bullying Deku, him saying that he'll get stronger after their second fight and him saying that his quirk is strong
Back to the present and Bakugou thinks to himself: "Izuku, I won't mess with you anymore". AFO launches his attack, but Bakugou shouts "burst" and an explosion hits AFO, causing him to fall to the ground. But he's confused because Bakugou hasn't moved
Bakugou flies towards AFO and starts explaining. Since the rain affects his quirk, he covered up the explosive sweat drops with normal sweat drops. He then threw those drops into AFO's mouth at the end of chapter 406 and waited for them to explode when he attacked back
AFO can't believe he's been outsmarted and Bakugou says that he's always been very clever. He doesn't need a lot of quirks, "explosion" is more than enough. AFO realizes that the explosion has messed with his attack and that he needs to activate it once again
AFO shouts "this is my story, you side character!!!" and what follows is a double spread of Howitzer Impact, a double spread of several explosions in a row and two more pages of explosions while Bakugou shouts "shut up!!!". Very satisfying stuff
AFO feels that the quirk factors are not working as they should, and that's not just due to the explosions. "Is it because my body has become too small and fragile?!". That's when we see that AFO is now a child inside the vestige world too
That's when Hawks' quirk's vestige shows up and says that all that anger has caused AFO to lose control of the vestiges and the quirks. Thanks to this, Hawks was even able to hold a fan meeting: all the other vestiges are fanboying and fangirling over him lol
"At the end of the day, Shigaraki led to your downfall," says Hawks while sticking out his tongue. All Might comments that the physical and mental damage that everyone caused on AFO has finally paid off. "This is *our* story!!!", shouts Bakugou
The last double spread shows All Might, Mitsuki, Masaru and Yoichi watching the battle. After his last big explosion, Bakugou says "I'd never have been able to defeat you all by myself". End of chapter.

Chapter 408: Eyes Full of Determination!!
The chapter begins with AFO killing Yoichi in a sewer. His body falls apart, only one hand is left behind. It's revealed that AFO gave him this name because his brother was the first thing he received in this world (Yoichi contains the kanji for "give" and "first")
The second page focuses on AFO and Kudou's eyes. While Kudou's eyes are full of emotion and start to get filled with tears, forming a reflection of the man who killed Yoichi, AFO's eyes are entirely white, with no reflection at all. Kudou still didn't have the scar
Some time passes and All For One is in an apartment in a very tall building, looking at Yoichi's hand (it looks like the ones Shigaraki has) and saying that the quirk he gave his brother was no longer in his body, and that this has never happened before
He starts thinking about what could have happened, until he finally realizes that the quirk may have been passed on to someone else. Meanwhile, the 3rd user - whose name is revealed to be Bruce - is examining Kudou's body
Kudou was feeling weird and Bruce asks if he was touched by AFO during the battle, but Kudou tells him to reveal the results already. It appears that there are now two quirk factors inside Kudou, the gearshift one and a very small, almost insignificant one
The next page is very interesting. It shows two different "versions" of Yoichi. One says "I couldn't stop my brother. He only sees people as toys" and the other says "My brother kept me alive. If only he cared more about other people..."
“If only he cared more about other people, the power to give and take could have been the kindest in the whole world". Kudou and AFO then come to similar conclusions. Kudou says "Yoichi's will now lives within me", while All For One says "that means he still exists”
We then see a double page spread showing the next few decades of AFO's life. Him killing Kudou and Bruce, starting a cult, meeting the doctor, trying to steal One For All from Banjo (and failing), cutting En in half, killing Nana and having his face destroyed by All Might
But right after AFO was defeated by AM for the first time, the doctor stole his body from the morgue. Back to the present, AFO wonders if Bakugou is Kudou's descendant, but that would be impossible. He killed his family and all the women and children who were close to him
Besides, if Kudou and Bakugou were related by blood, AFO would have noticed it in Kamino. Then it finally clicks: it's the eyes. Unlike back in Kamino, Bakugou's eyes right now show his determination to defeat All For One, just like Kudou's
AFO can't keep fighting and getting even younger, because he still needs to be able to fight when he gets to Shigaraki (knowing he'll struggle). That's when he decides to clear both his goals of killing Bakugou and getting to Tomura by using ALL his quirks at once
Yoichi's vestige senses that something's coming and what follows is probably the most impressive double spread Horikoshi has ever drawn. AFO is using all kinds of power, with several heads coming out of his body as it says "Realease Every Quirk Factor: All for One Goal"
Edgeshot realizes that AFO's plan is to use all that volume of energy to propel himself forward at an unbelievable speed, and All Might notices that doing so will revert him back to baby form, which means this is All For One's final gamble
Bakugou looks at the monstrous thing in front of him and, smiling, says, "Are you stupid? There's no way this dumb thing will win". End of chapter

Non related to MHA this Novel wrecks me to my core 😭
The roller coaster of emotion I felt while reading this was too much. The angst was really overwhelming that I needed to pause like for an hour before continuing.
Can someone give me a link where the side story is? I can't accept the ending Why did the MC not get a happy ending? Any spoilers out there? Did he come back or not? I'm crying 😭.

Chapter 407: Paranormal Orphan
The chapter begins with a prostitute who contracted a "disease" a year ago, causing a small spike-shaped tumor to grow on her left arm. But she didn't notice it for eight months because the two babies growing inside of her were draining all her strength
She gave birth to the twins at a riverside and died soon after, but the "tumor" on her arm mysteriously disappeared. This panel focuses on the hole in baby AFO's hand. When rats came to eat the corpse and the babies, the river's current carried the two of them away
1 year later, the glowing baby was born in China. But these new powers were not only given to newborn babies, they also appeared in people who hadn't reached puberty yet. Studies showed that this phenomenon consisted of a new addition to the human genetic factor
However, making this information public was a bad idea. It created the idea that those with powers were not human beings, leading to widespread chaos. A few years later, we see an extremist anti-meta abilities group walking at night and finding small All For One...
They believe he's an "orphan of the paranormal" and even if they feel bad for him, it's better not to go near him because he's probably "infected". AFO then looks at them in a frightening way and kills all of them with the spikes quirk, shredding their bodies
That's the quirk he stole from his mom. From the moment he was born, he already thought the entire world belonged to him. If you doesn't give him anything, you're a nuisance. We then see a panel of newborn AFO biting his dead mother's breasts with a furious expression
We see small All For One attacking some more people, but Yoichi throws a can at him. "Stop. That ouchy". The narration explains that AFO stole all his mother's nutrients, resulting in his brother being small and weak. AFO kicks Yoichi and keeps walking
The narration explains that, although Yoichi couldn't give him anything, he was one of AFO's "things", so he kept him. A few years later, the radio announces that the "glowing baby" is now fighting on the front line, defending peace. Meanwhile, Yoichi is reading comics
All For One asks what he's reading and Yoichi says that he can't read complicated books yet, so he's studying with comics. He thinks it's amazing how the author manages to convey a message just through the drawings and that one day he wants to be like Captain Hero
The narration says that Yoichi still believed in his brother's goodness because, deep down, he remembers that AFO held his hand when they were babies. 3 years later, AFO says that the glowing baby has gathered more than 10 million supporters, but that doesn't make sense
50 people with quirks were born in India before the glowing baby. He has no right to command so many people if he wasn't really the first one, which is why AFO killed him and stole his power. Yoichi asks why he did that and AFO replies that he's doing it like the comics
In the comics, they said One For All and All For One, and he loved it. While the hero fights alone with a secret identity, the villain reigns through fear. Just as Yoichi dreams of being a hero, he now has the dream of creating a world where everything exists for his sake
"Wait, why are you running? I just gave you power". The next panel shows Kudou pulling him by the hand "Who are you? Get away from him. He's mine!". "If you're not mine, then you don't..." the last panel shows Yoichi's hand cut off and surrounded by blood. End of chapter

Chapter 406: Understand your own quirk!!
The chapter begins with an update on the battlefields. The hospital battle is over and the wounded are being treated, the Nomu in Okuto Island has been defeated, Toru and Aoyama are freeing everyone from the plants and they're still fighting Gashly on Takoba arena
Hound Dog and the Shiketsu folks have captured Skeptic, Kamakiri and Kuroiro helped completing the evacuation to Shiketsu and all the villains in Jaku have been captured, but the whereabouts of Eraser Head, Present Mic and Kurogiri remain unknown...
We see Nagant lying on top of that building. She remembers Lock Lock saying that the plan hinges on their faith in Deku and thinks "Izuku Midoriya...". Cut back to the fight and All Might is impressed by Bakugou's speed. Edgeshot then explains what happened to his quirk
The speed he unlocked right before "dying" surprised even ShigAFO himself, so he's probably in the process of understanding something new about his quirk, he has to keep using it. AFO fell inside a building and he's pissed, but says he'll have to kill Bakugou later
Cut to Shigaraki and he says it's fine, he just has to "break" Bakugou again. Deku begins an internal monologue, saying that so far he's been using danger sense to dodge, but he still hasn't found a way to deal with Shigaraki's regeneration + decay + superhuman body
He can only use gearshift once more, and when that's done the blowback will be brutal, but Deku decides that the time is now. He activates the 2nd user's quirk and what follows is two pages showing Deku/Shigaraki and Bakugou/AFO that say "go beyond!"
But AFO starts heading towards Shigaraki, which annoys Bakugou. AFO says that the explosion quirk isn't as strong as Endeavor's Hellflame or Dark Shadow, and that he can deal with it later. He can't let a random guy like Bakugou speed up his rewind even more
But Bakugou finally gets it: pain is the key. When the sweat that should be coming from his hand runs all over his body, the pain is excruciating. He has to pinpoint where it hurts the most and master the timing in order to unleash stronger explosions
Bakugou is flying as fast as AFO. He's hitting the ground several times and feeling pain, but at the same time he's laughing and impressed by his own speed. He thinks back to when he wondered if he could still catch up to Izuku, but now he feels he can even surpass him
It cuts to the evacuated civilians and Mitsuki tells Masaru to look at the screen. He says he can't, because their son is facing All for One, but Mitsuki says they have to watch the fight, because she's sure Katsuki must be smiling like he always does
All For One is baffled. Why is this random guy making him angrier than All Might? And that's when it clicks: it's because he looks like the second OFA user. "If you're looking for Yoichi, mr. Demon Lord, he's already gone. You killed him", says the 2nd in a flashback
And that's why he's so angry. If the second user hadn't reached his hand to Yoichi, none of this would've happened. "It's all your fault, KUDOU!!!" shouts All For One. "Are you getting senile?! I'm the one and only Kacchan Bakugou!!!". End of chapter
