Being a fan of Youtubers playing rock/metal guitar music such as Pete Cottrell, Rabea Massaad, Leo Moracchioli and the likes, I decided to participate in a Youtube Yousician contest in 2017, announced by Pete Cottrell. Together with singer Diederik Tirez, I turned the guitar track “Dominion” into a full song and videoclip. As Cottrell commented: ”You guys made a full band cover of my song and a music video, it has vocals, a guitar solo… everything. And it’s awesome. It sounds so much better than my work!”.
The joy of making this clip and the quality of the result were prompting to continue with this Youtube project. Noband will continue making songs and videoclips inspired by other musicians, as well as doing their own stuff.
