It was November the 1st, 2000, when Chhattisgarh was carved out of Madhya Pradesh. One of the few states having surplus power, Chhattisgarh is also known as the "Rice Bowl" of India. It is a mineral-rich state, housing cement, mining, steel & aluminium. It is having IIT, IIIT, AIIMS, among others.
This page is meant mainly to give a platform to the talents that have helped Chhattisgarh in arts, science, medicine and other fields. The state has not got much attention, despite having come up spectacularly in the last 20 years. This page will cater to finding such local talents which have been contributing to its growth.
I am Jigyasha Gupta. Born and brought up in the steel city Bhilai, which also houses the 2nd biggest steel plant of Asia. I'm a computer science graduate from one of the pioneer engineering colleges of the state. In my free time, I love to meditate, read and cook. This is my humble contribution to giving back to the state which is doing a lot and has done a lot.
