Welcome to my channel! My name is Yanqing Low 刘 嫣卿 and I'm a Singaporean artist exploring consciousness and selfhood through an abstract expressionistic language that is embodied within materials, gesture, and space.
I love the process of making art. I believe that our creative expressions derived from a a keen observation of things form the foundation of aesthetics and beauty. I believe that art is a deeply physical and psychological process that is about more than ideas and concepts. I also believe that everyone will benefit from maintaining some form of personal artistic practice as a mode of contemplation and reflection of our external world as it intersects with our inner lives.
My goal with this channel is to share my process through timelapses. As this channel grows, I hope to share more about what I've learned, and continue to learn about materials, drawing, painting, and art.
