We are Jim and Rhenda. We are best friends and husband and wife. We live the Heartiness Approach Lifestyle.
Eating well and being well go hand in hand as we found out in 2008. After a health scare we changed our lives, giving up processed food. But finding, trusting and eating real food is difficult.....so.....we moved to the land and are homesteading in order to grow our food.
This is actually our third homestead. After a 7 month search we bought our last homestead in Missouri on 15.5 acres of beautiful land, a farm house and barns. We will have chickens, both layer and broiler, turkeys, pigs, sheep, meat cattle, and a milk cow.
We hope that countless others moving into the better half of their lives realize they too can have a place of their own to grow food, raise meat and live a healthy long life.
