Since all others were sold out (thank you!!), I just restocked several more sets of quilting squares in my shop! Decided to hand-pick a varied assortment of colors and patterns going forward. Enjoy!

I have the listings almost ready -- I will list everything in my Etsy shop tomorrow:
1) a few sets of the blue and pink floral, fagoted, jacquard trim, as well as
2) a few sets of five (supposedly some feedsack) quilt squares...

....tomorrow, Feb. 27th at 1pm EST.

I have researched and researched feedsack (did you know there were over 18,000 patterns!!??) -- and have examined these with a magnifying glass in order to look for minuscule clues as to what they were made out of and how they were constructed, thus trying to narrow down a date range for their creation. I guess it's good that researching things has for a long time been something I love to do! According to my findings, my best guess is that these are 1940s-ish. So so cool!

Be sure to follow my shop, and check there around 1pm EST if you're interested in anything I mentioned. Thank you all! chasingretro.etsy.com/

(PS/Update: The ledger papers will be listed at a separate time. I bought more yesterday and need more time to put packs together. :)

News post! Updates!
I will be listing some items in my shop in the next day or two….stay tuned. I will announce here when I plan to list. I’ll have some feedsack quilting squares, vintage trim, and more.
Also, would anyone be interested in purchasing some of the ledger papers I found with construction company letterhead/logos on them? I will *have* to fold them to mail them, so I understand if you’d rather not purchase folded pages. :) I actually went back to see if they still had some, and bought three more this morning. 🤭
Be patient with me as I continue to research the quilt squares, price everything, and prepare all the photos and listings, prepping and packaging. Tomorrow is my birthday 🎉 so I’m taking the day off to goof off with my family! If I don’t get everything listed tonight, I’ll do it Friday. :)
This photo is just an attention grabber. It’s the NYC themed scrapbook that I just made for my sister. Going to hand it over to her tomorrow! 🤗

Just saw that Joann is now announcing that they are closing ALL stores.
Very sad day for the sewing and crafting world.
I feel so badly for their employees, too.

Thank you to everyone who purchased one of my eclectic journals!
I have one left in the shop, the "Under the See-mingly Possible."
Thanks for going along with my crazy colors and silly names for the journals in this series! :)

We’ve had the flu in our house this week. 💔
Opening doors and windows and airing everything out on this unseasonably warm February day. They flock to screen doors like moths to a flame after a couped-up winter. 🐱🐱🐱
