HK-born pianist, Shirley is the prizewinner of the Japan-Hong Kong International Music Competition in 2012. Recent engagements have taken her to special performances at the annual International Day of Peace Ceremony, co-hosted by the United Nations & Peace International Foundation; concerts at Hong Kong City Hall, HK Museum of Art, the HK University of Science and Technology & “Art, Culture & Music at the Airport”.
Shirley attained her Bachelor’s degree from the Chinese University of HK & Master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati with full scholarship. Her teachers included Prof Eleanor Wong, Dr. William Black, Prof Jan Panenka, Prof David Gwilt & Helen Wong.
Shirley lectured and taught masterclasses at The HK Academy for Performing Arts, HK Music Institute and International Youth Cultural Arts Festival. She also served as an adjudicator in various competitions
She now is the Chairman of Hong Kong Musicians & Artists Association & Hong Kong International Music & Arts Festival
