Babu and Prasanna are father-son duo- percussionists. Babu is a self-taught Prodigy. Prasanna has learnt his percussions from his father.
Babu has been playing percussions for nearly 50 years now and he has worked with various legendary music directors such as Mr. M.S.Viswanathan in Tamil; Mr. Johnson, Jerry Amaldev, Achu Rajamani & Raveendran in Malayalam; Mr. Ranga Rao in Kannada; Mr. Vijaya Krishnamoorthi & Mr. Thamman in Telugu. He has also performed alongside A.R.Rahman while performing for Mr. MSV.
Prasanna has joined his father’s footsteps and started performing on-stage 15 years back. Prasanna also owns a Music band for Fusion & Light Music, “Prasanna’s Prakruthi” along with his father. Prasanna’s Prakruthi has been actively engaged in all light music & Fusion corporate and private concerts across the globe. He has also composed the background score for a series of Semi-Classical all-time favourites known as “Fabulous Eleven” for INRECO.
