FYI: We are still working on the ARM M1 Apple Sillicon hardware port, this should ship this winter, meanwhile for people who are getting new hardware as it does not appear Apple FCP has a checkbox for running under rosetta 2 like Logic does... here's a trick we found on the internet. That might help in the interim if you need to run a plugin, even if you just render a ProRes intermediate to then run native ARM.
