Personal Cinema is a network active in the field of media arts. It plans and organizes projects
and activities that encourage a critical stance toward the new forms of production, presentation
and distribution of media content; forms that at the very end, define social, cultural and political
conditions, which in their turn, connect the multitude to structures of power.
Our work spans more than two decades of activity with projects that focus on critical themes like
migration, identity, and political representation, often using interactive media, digital storytelling,
and experimental presentation techniques. We engage audiences by blending cinematic,
gameplay, and immersive technologies to challenge traditional media narratives and foster
reflection on contemporary sociopolitical issues. Our work emphasizes collaboration, audience
participation, and the use of new technologies to provoke dialogue on social justice and cultural
identity.
