The Association for Human Rights in Central Asia is a Non-Governmental Organisation registered in Le Mans, France on November 8, 2006 and was listed in the official register of associations in France under the number 1458 on December 2, 2006.
The association seeks to protect the rights of those it helps through mechanisms available in national and international legislation. It also monitors compliance by the governments of the Central Asian republics with international agreements on human rights.
