Welcome to Learn to Dance with Lorelie where you can learn belly dance moves for fun and to help you feel great! Bellydance is also called Oriental Dance, Raks Sharki and Middle Eastern Dance.
I discovered a bellydance class in 2002 and was hooked right away. It sparked so much JOY! I learned dance and performance skills through the renowned Riskallah Riyad. Check out her classes if you are in CT. You will be very glad you did. After graduating from Riskallah's "Excellence in Teaching" workshops I was honored to begin teaching for her.
After almost 20 years of studying, performing and teaching with Riskallah Riyad in Connecticut we moved to Southwest Florida. I hope to continue spreading the JOY of this beautiful dance. You can also find the joy of bellydance right here at my Bellydance YouTube channel.
