At some point you might give up hoping that the government or some authority out there is going to create a positive future for you or your kids. If that time is NOW, then you can withdraw sanction from that hierarchy so it can no longer speak or act in your name. The problem with this is then you have to speak and act in your own name. This is difficult because modern culture avoids initiating you into owning your agency and standing in your own authority.
