SL Books is a You Tube channel intended to introduce books by Sri Lankan authors to the general public. In doing this, we try to broaden the readership of these books and keep the book-readers informed of availability of such books. Though we cover a wide range of subjects we try to select those books known to be by well-known writers as well as recognized as being quality or award-winning and or nominated for awards. Subject matters shall include, but not limited to, social sciences, law, philosophy, social development, novels and short-stories, arts & culture, religion, ethnicity, gender, women, indigenous knowledge, traditions, colonialism.
