Besides playing the piano and music, what other interests do you have? I like spending time with family and friends, running/walking, traveling (especially to NYC) and I love OWLS!

I have finally completed the comprehensive tutorial for Chopin's Waltz in A minor! It is my sincere hope that this can bring you from start to finish on this piece, which I believe it can. It has 3 sections--a piano basics intro/review section, the next section is a methodical tutorial in 4 measure increments featuring notes, fingering and rhythm for the piece. The final section is advanced techniques where you will find wrist motions, dynamics, articulation, pedaling, pacing and more. It is the same type of detailed instruction I have on my YouTube videos. There are over 100 videos, almost 5 hours of instruction and several printable PDFs that can help you on your journey with this piece. YouTube viewers can get $25 off the course through 2/28/25 using the discount code YT25. You can find the course at the following link:

Happy 2025! I am so grateful to all of you subscribers and viewers and look forward to helping each other grow with the piano in the upcoming year. I am currently putting the final touches on a comprehensive tutorial for Chopin's Waltz in A Minor. This has been a big undertaking but I am glad I have done it. Unlike most of my YouTube videos, this is a start to finish, extremely detailed tutorial on this piece which will be for sale. It starts with a basic section explaining piano essentials (understanding the score, note reading, counting, etc), then goes over basic techniques (hand position, wrist, executing the pedal, etc.), then a complete tutorial on the basics of the entire piece (notes/fingering/rhythm) in 4 measure increments, and finishing off with how to execute the artistic elements of the piece (wrist motions, articulation, pedal, dynamics, and tempo rubato). I believe that someone who is committed to the piano and has practiced for about a year could take this course and be successful if they are willing to put the time in. At any rate, there will be a special coupon code for loyal YouTube viewers so if this course interests you please send me an email at olympiapianostudio1685@gmail.com or let me know in the comments and I will be sure to let you know when it is up and running--everything is uploaded I am just checking for bugs now!

I am feeling grateful for all of you subscribers! Thanks for your feedback, donations, and your questions--and letting me know where you are from! I wanted to announce that I am going to be posting a 30 Day Intro/Overview of Chopin's Nocturne in C# minor, op. Posthumous, starting tomorrow, May 1st, 2024. This overview will not be a comparison of several versions or interpretations of the piece, but rather I will be sharing tips from my many years studying and teaching this piece. It will cover 2 measures a day, and I will be using the edition I learned from, which is the Henle edition (the first version of the piece in that book). I hope you feel free to post questions/comments especially so if there are issues I can address in the teaching as I go through the piece, I can incorporate things that are meaningful for you! As always, thank you for watching!
