Each of my first 2 outings this year yielded an item off of my "bucket list" - a Queen Victoria Silver, and an Edward VII Large Cent.

Welcome to Curiosity Detecting! A few years ago I started metal detecting as a way to stay active during the pandemic, little did I realize that I would fall in love with the hobby. Since that day I have found some incredible pieces of history in Eastern Ontario, Canada. I now see detecting as not just a fun hobby but as a way to relieve the stresses of everyday life and to meet great people who are part of this generous and outgoing community. It's also great for my mental health, and is a way to focus on the hunt and let the world's stresses melt away.
