The ‘Human Flourishing and Critical Realism in the Social Sciences’ project was led by Professor Philip Gorski (Sociology, Yale University). The project was funded generously by the John Templeton Foundation with the goal of generating broader awareness and understanding of critical realism. The project established the Critical Realism Network, which is now administered by the Centre for Critical Realism.
The goal of the Critical Realism Network is to create a community of scholars and educators with the aim of fostering a dialogue about the direction of contemporary social theory and the potential impact of critical realism. The Critical Realism Network website serves as the home for learning about critical realism and exchanging insights from our interactions and engagement with faculty, scholars, and students.
