So this happened - I went on the Summer of 99 Cruise and got to see my all-time fave band live, finally!

Creed, back together for the first time since 2012.

I’ll be making a video about the cruise + a cool little camera I brought that made me fall in love with photography. It’s not even my expensive camera gear - it’s a little ~$90USD camera.

Currently in Denver as my flight to Canada was missed due to weather delays getting out of Miami.

Looking forward to creating some new videos and connecting here on YT again some moreπŸ˜€

Excited to announce the beginning of a brand new YouTube channel @Videographer Guides . This channel was originally created to help videographers, however I've decided to move all videos on that subject the the new channel linked above :-)

Working with fellow videographers since 2017 has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life, and I'd like to introduce a brand new chapter in that story.

I started this new brand and business with someone who came into my world as an eager student who went on to become a top performer in his own video business, and who has since gone on to become a great friend (Farid).

Our goal is to provide the most concise and replicable training for video creators so you can start to make better money with your creativity.
Think of this as "film school, but for navigating business".

Im really excited to share that I'll be working with Ali Abdaal over the next 6 weeks. If you're not familiar with his work, check him out on YouTube - he's rad!

For the past few years there's been something bubbling up inside of me that I've wanted to explore but I got so caught up in the "world of business" and a self-imposed sense of obligation that I couldn't stop doing work that was helping others.Β

I ended up putting this new journey, and more importantly, myself on the back burner.

You may not know what's been going on in my world, so I figure I'd share it here now: It's taken these past 7 months to recover from an intense burnout that came from running Video Warrior.Β

Closing that business down may have been one of the best things I've done, and I'm still not fully 'there', but I feel a lot more "whole".Β

I finally feel like I'm connected to myself again and I'm starting to find a connection to the things that once brought me joy too.

It's super refreshing to get to be a "student" for a change and to spend some "selfish" time (I use that word with a positive connotation) around high-level people who are doing kick-ass work with video here on YouTube + who make life-affirming and impactful content.

So that's what I wanted to share. :-)

If you've been around the channel for a while there's likely going to be a whole lot less videos made specifically around "client-work", and I hope you enjoy what's to come.Β

If the new direction does not serve you in your life or journey, that's totally okay too and I get it.

So thanks for being here. I look forward to what's next!

PS: I'm totally addicted to Rubik's cubes right now lol.

Some days things don't go as planned.

Sometimes shit blows up on you... or you fail to follow through on something you intended to do... or you just feel like a failure when you look at what others are doing.

Rather than beat yourself up just take a breath and let that shit go.

Like, right now.

Inhale. Deep. Let it go.

It's all good, dude!
Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will your business.

12 Video Warriors have flown in to join us for the filming of the Video Warrior Academy 2.0.

This is coaching for folks who are already flowing sales and aren't 'new' to the video business game. If you're new to running your video business (or have been selling but feel stuck) and are looking for help with the selling and getting clients side of things check out Zero2Warrior - it's helped everyone who is here at this weekend event too. 🀘😎

Had an epic dinner with these badass Video WARRIORS in White Rock B.C. on Monday night! (Chuck even drove up from the USA to join us - what a legend, dude!).

Some of these dudes are now making 3-5x what they used to make in one month (while working full time hours at their job) while working waaaaay less hours now. So cool to hear each and every one of their stories, and even those that are just getting started, you're on the right path too. Keep surrounding yourself with the Tribe and go big!!!

Hope to see YOU, my YouTube friend, at one of these surprise Video WARRIOR meetups!

Wanna know a bit more about one of the dudes behind this YouTube channel and how we're building the Video Warrior Movement to help filmmakers all around the world? Link here: https://youtu.be/XV4LOk3PpEg

Check out this interview on the Your Story podcast. I was invited to hop on - the hosts are members of the Video Warrior Community and have been kicking ass and taking names with their video business as a result of hanging around with us too :D

This week's #WarriorWednesday may be a little late to arrive - just wanted to give ya a quick head's up as to what's going on!

I just landed in Thailand 2 nights ago and am visiting some friends + attending an event here.

Nik is also en route to meet me here, so we'll be filming next week's episode on the road too!

PS: Im working to get a very special guest on for this week's show, so if it all works out it'll be posted ASAP!

Rock on!
